Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of progressive HR experience.
  • Meaningful experience building HR programs at an early-stage or high-growth company with fewer than 250 employees.
  • Strong understanding of job architecture, position management, job leveling, and compensation philosophy.
  • Working knowledge of multi-state employment law and compliance requirements.
  • Proven experience advising senior leaders on organizational design and workforce planning.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence decisions and drive results without direct authority.
  • Strong project management, consulting, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level presentations.

Responsibilities

  • Build the HR function and serve as a trusted advisor to the executive team on organizational effectiveness and talent strategy.
  • Partner with business leaders to align people initiatives with organizational objectives and operational priorities.
  • Design and implement core HR programs, policies, and workflows, including performance management, job leveling, and compensation structures.
  • Ensure HR compliance with security and regulatory commitments, including SOC 2, CJIS, and HIPAA requirements.
  • Lead the company's recruiting strategy and oversee the hiring lifecycle.
  • Manage and develop the current HR Generalist.
  • Drive change management and cultural norms during periods of rapid growth.
