Requirements
- 3–5 years of progressive experience in sales, business development, or account management within healthcare, healthcare technology, or SaaS environments.
- Experience with healthcare operations, clinical workflows, patient safety, or care management solutions is strongly preferred.
- Proven success managing a territory or portfolio of accounts with measurable revenue results.
- Strong consultative selling skills, including discovery, solution positioning, negotiation, and closing.
- Ability to translate complex healthcare or technical concepts into clear business value for customers.
- Experience managing sales pipelines, forecasting, and CRM processes, with Salesforce experience preferred.
- Strong communication, presentation, relationship-building, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to independently manage the full sales lifecycle, from prospecting through contract execution.
- Strategic territory planning skills with the ability to balance account expansion and new customer acquisition.
- Confidence engaging with senior executives and influencing complex purchasing decisions.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, especially PowerPoint and Excel.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, healthcare, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
- Ability to travel up to 25% for business-related activities.
Responsibilities
- Manage and negotiate complex renewal agreements while identifying opportunities for upselling and expanding existing customer relationships.
- Develop and qualify new business opportunities by building relationships with healthcare organizations and key decision-makers.
- Provide subject matter expertise on care management solutions, supporting sales teams throughout qualification, demonstrations, proposals, and closing activities.
- Partner with clinical and technical teams to coordinate customer demonstrations and discovery sessions tailored to client needs.
- Maintain accurate sales operations processes, including CRM management, forecasting, pipeline tracking, and opportunity documentation.
- Conduct consultative conversations with customers to understand challenges, define solutions, and create compelling value propositions.
- Develop territory strategies based on market insights, customer needs, competitive trends, and growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to share customer feedback and support product positioning initiatives.
- Lead presentations, solution discussions, and sales activities with internal and external stakeholders.
- Travel periodically to meet with prospects and customers, strengthen partnerships, and support business growth objectives.
