Requirements
- 5+ years of product management experience focused on payments, billing, checkout, or subscription systems.
- Demonstrated success delivering product enhancements that improved conversion or revenue.
- Strong understanding of payment processors, acquiring banks, orchestration platforms, and transaction optimization.
- Experience working with subscription-based direct-to-consumer, high-growth startups, or digital commerce.
- Proven ability to integrate AI-powered tools, coding assistants, or LLMs into product development.
- Experience managing payment vendors, SLAs, and processor onboarding.
- Strong analytical capabilities and experience building dashboards using tools like Looker or BigQuery.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with experimentation platforms, fraud prevention, risk operations, or compliance is an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Own the product strategy and roadmap for payments, prioritizing improvements across checkout, subscription billing, and billing infrastructure.
- Define, monitor, and optimize metrics such as checkout conversion, authorization rates, and chargeback ratios.
- Design, execute, and evaluate A/B tests to improve payment and billing experiences.
- Write detailed product specifications and coordinate cross-functional execution with engineering and design.
- Manage relationships with payment orchestration providers, processors, and acquiring banks.
- Oversee payment operations, including transaction health, dispute resolution, and chargeback processes.
- Develop dashboards to communicate payment performance and business insights to stakeholders.
- Partner with finance and compliance teams to improve revenue reporting and operational efficiency.
