Requirements

  • 5+ years of product management experience specifically in payments, billing, or checkout.
  • Demonstrated experience integrating AI-powered tools and LLM-driven analysis into product workflows.
  • Background working in a subscription-based DTC company, preferably in health, wellness, or telehealth.
  • Direct experience working with payment processors, acquirers, or payment orchestration platforms like Gr4vy or Spreedly.
  • Strong technical understanding of auth flows, settlement, and transaction failure analysis.
  • Proven track record of shipping product improvements that demonstrably increased conversion or revenue.
  • Experience with operational tasks, including chargeback management and vendor SLA monitoring.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to build and interpret data dashboards (Looker, BigQuery).
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to write technical specs and present to leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Own the payments product roadmap, prioritizing improvements to checkout, subscription billing, and payment method expansion.
  • Define and track success metrics such as checkout conversion, rebill auth rates, and chargeback ratios.
  • Design and run A/B experiments on billing flows, interpreting results to drive product decisions.
  • Manage relationships with payment orchestration platforms and processors, including routing optimization and MID strategy.
  • Monitor transaction health and handle complex billing escalations in collaboration with engineering and CX teams.
  • Build and maintain data dashboards to communicate payments performance to stakeholders.
