Requirements
- Significant accounting, financial reporting, and controllership experience in a global, multi-entity organization.
- Proven track record of leading, developing, and organizing accounting or financial reporting teams.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge with the ability to evaluate and document complex matters.
- Expertise in global financial reporting, close governance, audit readiness, and internal controls.
- Professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, CA, ACCA, or equivalent).
- Strong understanding of ERP systems, data flows, and scalable accounting operations.
- Ability to balance technical accuracy with business needs through strong judgment and attention to detail.
- Collaborative leadership style with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with NetSuite is strongly preferred.
- Experience in private equity-backed, acquisitive, SaaS, or professional services environments is preferred.
- Familiarity with US, Canadian, and UK statutory reporting requirements is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead global accounting, financial reporting, and controllership activities across regions and entities.
- Oversee global close governance, including calendars, reconciliations, and reporting standards.
- Maintain and evolve accounting policies and documentation to ensure global consistency.
- Partner with external auditors and tax advisors to ensure compliance and audit readiness.
- Lead and optimize accounting processes within NetSuite.
- Coach and develop accounting and financial reporting team members.
- Support M&A diligence, acquisition integration, and accounting policy alignment.
