Requirements
- Track record of building data/CRM systems from scratch.
- Deep technical experience with AI tools (e.g., Claude) and connectors (e.g., Zapier, API integrations) as a builder.
- 3-5 years (Senior Manager) or 5+ years (Director) of major donor fundraising experience.
- Hands-on generalist orientation with comfort in both data management and system design.
- Demonstrated ability to quickly learn complex, non-standard internal processes.
- Strong ability to translate fundraising language into tools and processes.
- Experience with EveryAction or comparable nonprofit CRM preferred.
- Experience in progressive advocacy, electoral, or mission-aligned spaces preferred.
- Ability to mentor or manage junior teammates as the function grows.
Responsibilities
- Own the roadmap for donor data and CRM systems, including evaluating and building new tools.
- Design and manage taxonomy, tags, and data structures for relational donor engagement.
- Develop underlying automations, agents, forms, and workflows to enable team self-service.
- Build and maintain Claude-powered automations for briefing generation and prospecting support.
- Perform hands-on data wrangling, tool configuration, and workflow implementation.
- Translate fundraising leadership needs into functional technical systems.
- Partner with front-line fundraisers to optimize workflows and processes.
- Document systems and conduct team training on new tools and processes.
