Requirements
- Senior-level experience as a QA Automation Engineer in large-scale, agile engineering teams.
- Deep proficiency in modern UI testing engines, specifically Playwright or Selenium WebDriver.
- Strong programming foundation in Java.
- Experience with build automation tools like Gradle or Maven.
- Solid hands-on experience with Cucumber for BDD.
- Comprehensive experience testing web services using REST Assured.
- Familiarity with Jenkins for CI/CD integration.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and scale automated testing frameworks from scratch for UI and backend APIs.
- Implement and maintain robust end-to-end UI test suites.
- Develop automation scripts to validate RESTful, GraphQL, and microservice layer protocols.
- Partner with product owners and business analysts to translate requirements into BDD automation specs.
- Integrate automated test suites into deployment pipelines to support shift-left testing.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and refactor flaky test scripts while providing quality metrics to engineering squads.
