Requirements

- Prior experience with software M&A transactions is a must
- Strong academic performance from a top-tier institution
- Undergraduate degree in business or a related field is preferred
- Professional maturity and confidence in interacting with C-level executives
- Highly proactive, self-directed, and driven with strong sales skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated leadership potential
- Solid foundation in accounting principles and financial modeling
- Understanding of software business models and the M&A transaction lifecycle
- Strong analytical ability and pattern recognition skills
- Advanced Excel proficiency
Responsibilities
- Identify and source software businesses that meet our acquisition criteria and key performance metrics
- Develop and execute targeted prospecting campaigns via email and outbound calls
- Build and nurture relationships with prospective acquisition targets and sell-side M&A investment banking firms
- Lead preliminary evaluations of potential acquisitions, including initial business and financial due diligence
- Own and manage a robust deal pipeline, ensuring it is consistently updated
- Conduct industry and market research to identify trends and uncover new acquisition opportunities
- Review and analyze investment materials, synthesizing data into clear, actionable insights
- Independently drive acquisition opportunities forward and maintain momentum throughout the process
