Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant business field.
- 10+ years of work experience with a deep background in managing accounts payable functions.
- 4+ years of supervisory experience, leading teams of hourly and salaried employees.
- Experience at a public company and/or in the retail sector.
- Extensive experience with financial reporting systems, ERP implementation, and maintaining SOX compliance.
- Well-versed in supply chain operations and the procure-to-pay lifecycle, including invoice ingestion, three-way match, and master data management.
- Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint; Oracle Cloud experience preferred.
- Solid foundation in technical accounting and a firm understanding of GAAP standards.
Responsibilities
- Manage and develop a high-performing Accounts Payable team, including supervisors, coordinators, and processors.
- Partner with Accounting, Merchandising, Engineering, and IT to design and implement system updates.
- Oversee the administration of the company’s T&E platform and corporate card program.
- Champion the thoughtful use of agentic AI to improve workflows and enable new functionalities.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Merchandising and Operations to identify efficiencies and drive process improvements.
- Manage the monthly close for accounts payable and related accounts, including oversight of AP aging and GRNI accounts.
- Oversee day-to-day operations involving high-volume invoicing and 3-way matching of inventory receipts.
- Develop meaningful business reporting for management and identify upstream opportunities for optimization.
