Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional experience with product development.
- Experience with agile development for internet- and consumer-facing software.
- Proven success in leading product initiatives that coordinated multiple functions across an organization.
- Experience and comfort working directly and proactively to query and analyze data.
- Ability to interrogate data to drive measurable solutions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to interact effectively with all levels of management, staff, and communities.
- Capable of managing a diverse range of responsibilities in a dynamic and results-oriented environment.
- Ability to be decisive and expeditious with a complex set of stakeholders.
- Experience working directly in online security and privacy (preferred).
- Experience working with online communities, especially public ones (preferred).
- Background in software engineering or applied information security (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Identify critical safety and security problems and guide team work for maximum impact.
- Lead the development of new products, features, and technical interventions to protect user security and privacy.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration with engineering, design, data science, and community management teams.
- Oversee product planning and feature prioritization based on user impact, data analysis, and community feedback.
- Engage proactively with user communities to gather ideas, provide feedback, and maintain candid relationships.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current technologies in online safety, security, and privacy.
