Requirements
- 6-8 years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain.
- Proven experience in people-leadership and managing portfolio-scale operations.
- Background in renewables, power, construction, or infrastructure; utility-scale solar experience strongly preferred.
- Proven track record negotiating complex commercial transactions and Master Supply Agreements (MSAs).
- Expertise in EPC contracts and logistics coordination for major equipment.
- Deep knowledge of trade compliance, specifically UFLPA, customs, and domestic content strategy for ITC.
- Strong financial acumen regarding pricing trends, commodity fluctuations, and TCO/should-cost analysis.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, finance, engineering, or related field.
- Preferred: MBA, ISM CPSM, or APICS/ASCM CPIM/CSCP certification.
Responsibilities
- Execute multi-year procurement and category strategies for solar equipment such as modules, transformers, and inverters.
- Build and maintain long-term strategic supplier relationships to ensure cost-competitiveness, quality, and reliability.
- Negotiate Master Supply Agreements (MSAs) and lead supplier selection processes.
- Manage equipment budgets, savings targets, and commodity risk mitigation.
- Oversee trade compliance for equipment sourcing, including UFLPA, traceability, and domestic content strategy for ITC.
- Coordinate logistics, inventory, and factory acceptance testing (FAT) with internal engineering and delivery teams.
- Mentor and develop the supply chain team to scale function and governance.
