Requirements
- Master’s degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or equivalent.
- Provisionally Licensed in Massachusetts under one of the following: ASW, LMSW, LGSW, CSW, ALC, LAC, APC, LPCA, APCC, or AMFT.
- Up-to-date CAQH profile and active NPI number.
- Minimum of 6 months of experience providing psychotherapy under supervision preferred.
- Skilled in diagnosing mental health disorders in accordance with DSM-5 criteria.
- Knowledgeable in crisis response and evidence-based clinical skills.
- Ability to commit to building a caseload to 50 sessions/month by the end of week 20.
- Commitment to working 20 hours per week, including one evening or weekend shift.
- Comfortable working autonomously in a telemedicine environment.
- Tech-savvy, including proficiency with Google Workspace and EMR systems.
- Access to a reliable computer (not a Chromebook) and high-speed internet.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality psychotherapy services (60-minute individual, couples, group, and/or family sessions) with a focus on clinical decision making, and measurable outcomes.
- Participate in supervision to reflect on client sessions, explore transference and countertransference, develop clinical decision-making skills, and evaluate outcomes.
- Maintain a minimum of 50 sessions per month by the end of the 20th week.
- Document with rigor and efficiency, submitting all session notes and treatment plans within 48 hours.
- Actively participate in learning through the Cerebral Institute, including monthly series and CE-earning courses.
- Work collaboratively with prescribers managing client medications.
