Job Details

Requirements

Board-certified or board-eligible Psychiatrist.
Unrestricted, independent medical licensure.
Established and updated CAQH and FCVS profiles.
Experience providing psychiatric care to all age groups.
Experience treating patients in acute crisis in 24/7 settings.
Experience working with multiple EMR systems simultaneously.
Advanced technical proficiency in Windows systems and telehealth hardware (laptop, camera, monitors).
Ability to provide culturally competent care to patients from diverse backgrounds.
Must maintain a private office space to ensure patient confidentiality.

Responsibilities

Evaluate and treat patients in crisis across multiple emergency rooms, hospital medical floors, and psychiatric crisis programs.
Determine the most appropriate and least restrictive level of care for patients.
Collaborate with partner healthcare treatment teams using a collaborative care approach.
Implement psychotherapeutic treatments and prescribe medication for mental, emotional, or behavioral disorders.
Coordinate with a 24/7 access center for case triage and clinical support.
