Requirements
- Experience in incident response, technical operations, or a reliability-adjacent role.
- Hands-on familiarity with incident tooling like incident.io or PagerDuty.
- Proven experience with Slack-based workflow automation.
- Proficiency in building with SQL and using reporting tools like Databricks, Looker, or Grafana.
- Ability to diagnose operational issues using logs, system context, and integration debugging.
- Capability to build lightweight automations and configure APIs.
- Demonstrable experience using AI in daily work for building, summarizing, and triaging.
- History of building repeatable, high-quality AI-powered workflows.
- Strong attention to detail in configuration, data quality, and documentation.
- Excellent written communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work independently, drive problems to resolution, and manage priorities effectively.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the reliability and configuration of incident.io, PagerDuty, Slack-based workflows, on-call rotations, and escalation paths.
- Design and ship repeatable AI automation for incident summarization, postmortem drafting, triage, and data hygiene.
- Build and maintain a community of practice for Incident Commanders and Support Leads.
- Develop and troubleshoot dashboards and reports using Databricks, Grafana, and Looker.
- Maintain up-to-date playbooks, templates, and incident guides.
- Implement continuous improvements based on incident participation and postmortem reviews.
- Coordinate incident response activities across Engineering, Support, GTM, Legal, and Finance departments.
