Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant coding experience.
- B.S. or higher in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
- Excellent knowledge of Python, C++, or TypeScript.
- Demonstrated ability to learn new languages, libraries, and frameworks.
- Experience building production-ready code used at scale.
- Experience building software from firmware up to the application layer is preferred.
- Experience interacting with hardware like payment systems, POS, or fuel controllers is a plus.
- Experience meeting with and demoing features for customers.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain integrations between Mashgin's checkout kiosks and customer payment, point-of-sale, and enterprise systems.
- Develop software that bridges embedded devices, payment terminals, peripherals, backend services, and customer APIs.
- Work directly with internal teams and enterprise customers to understand integration requirements and deliver technical solutions.
- Design and implement reusable libraries, tooling, and services to improve integration reliability and observability.
- Diagnose and resolve issues spanning firmware, networking, operating systems, payment devices, and distributed applications.
- Prototype, test, and deploy new integration solutions into production.
