Requirements
- 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong proficiency in React (hooks, state management, component architecture).
- Strong proficiency in Python (e.g., FastAPI, Django, or Flask).
- Solid experience with PostgreSQL schema design and query optimization.
- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.
- Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform).
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Demonstrated experience building applications that securely handle PHI/PII.
- Working knowledge of HIPAA or SOC 2 compliance frameworks.
- Strong understanding of Test-Driven Development (TDD) and automated testing.
- Experience using AI coding tools within a spec-driven workflow.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain full-stack applications using React, Python, and PostgreSQL.
- Architect and deploy scalable, secure cloud infrastructure on AWS.
- Define and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions.
- Practice Test-Driven Development (TDD) for high code quality.
- Apply Spec-Driven AI Development practices to accelerate implementation.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specs.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior and mid-level engineers.
- Monitor performance and reliability using observability tools.
- Design systems handling PHI/PII in compliance with HIPAA.
