- PhD with 7+ years or Master’s with 11+ years of relevant experience.
Requirements
- PhD with minimum 7 years of experience or Master's degree with minimum 11 years of experience.
- Experience in human development, education, health, workforce development, or learning sciences.
- Expertise in social science research, evaluation, or longitudinal study leadership.
- Proven record of directing large-scale, multi-year research or evaluation projects.
- At least 5 years of experience managing complex research initiatives across multiple sectors.
- Experience at the intersection of AI and human development.
- Demonstrated success building and sustaining cross-sector partnerships.
- Strong communication skills for translating research into policy-relevant insights.
- Comfort engaging with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with human-centered research approaches.
Responsibilities
- Refine the strategic vision and intellectual direction for the long-term AI Century Study.
- Lead the full research lifecycle, including study design, data governance, and ethics.
- Manage interdisciplinary teams of researchers, analysts, designers, and communications staff.
- Develop and sustain strategic partnerships with funders, policymakers, academic collaborators, and tech stakeholders.
- Translate complex, longitudinal research findings into accessible narratives for diverse audiences.
- Represent the study and organization as a thought leader in national forums and media.
