Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of combined experience in ELA instruction, coaching, and adult learning.
- At least 5 years of ELA classroom teaching experience.
- At least 3 years of instructional leadership, coaching, or leading HQIM-aligned professional learning.
- Demonstrated expertise supporting teachers to internalize and adapt high-quality instructional materials (HQIM).
- Strong pedagogical and content knowledge in ELA, specifically Science of Reading and Common Core-aligned instruction.
- Experience implementing HQIM in ELA; familiarity with HMH Into Literature is a plus.
- Technical fluency with AI platforms and ability to interpret AI-generated insights for instructional design.
- Ability to travel moderately for retreats, programming, and professional development.
- Commitment to Leading Educators' mission and values.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of a coherent, scalable model for AI-enabled ELA instruction.
- Guide the Robin Hood Foundation-supported multi-school literacy initiative.
- Co-create, pilot, and refine instructional supports that preserve curriculum integrity while leveraging AI technology.
- Collaborate across instruction, technology, research, product, and coaching teams to drive system coherence.
- Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to surface patterns and inform instructional strategy.
- Build educator capacity to internalize and adapt high-quality instructional materials.
