Requirements

  • Experience with Python, PySpark, and R.
  • Experience with supervised and unsupervised machine learning techniques (e.g., k-NN, Naive Bayes, SVM, Decision Forests).
  • Experience with data science toolkits such as R, Weka, NumPy, and MatLab.
  • Experience with data visualization tools.
  • Experience applying statistical methods and concepts such as distributions, statistical testing, and regression.
  • Experience with Sparklyr.
  • Ability to work in an agile environment.
  • Strong critical thinking and collaborative problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Human Centered Design leads to analyze data and form insights supporting CMS price transparency initiatives.
  • Build predictive models, data visualizations, and automated AI tools for process improvement and recommendation engines.
  • Research and analyze data sources to develop features for the CMS Procedure Price Lookup tool.
  • Process, cleanse, and verify data integrity while performing ad-hoc analysis for stakeholders.
  • Participate in agile product discussions to refine acceptance criteria and estimate user stories.
  • Create automated anomaly detection systems and track ongoing performance.
