Requirements
- 5–9 years of professional experience in platform engineering, DevOps, SRE, or software engineering.
- Proven experience building and owning production services (backend or full stack).
- Strong coding ability with experience building internal tools and automation.
- Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code, specifically Terraform/Terraform Cloud.
- Solid experience operating production Kubernetes workloads and Helm.
- Deep cloud fluency with GCP, and ability to learn AWS and Azure.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, networking, service-oriented architecture, and hardware/virtualization concepts.
- Working knowledge of databases and transaction integrity.
- Excellent technical writing skills for documentation, RFCs, and diagrams.
- AI-native mindset, comfortable using tools like Cursor, Claude, and Notion AI.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
Responsibilities
- Take end-to-end ownership of the internal orchestration platform, including architecture, code, and roadmap.
- Evolve infrastructure-as-code using Terraform Cloud for provisioning and managing environments across GCP, AWS, and Azure.
- Operate and scale Kubernetes-based workloads using Helm, ensuring performance, reliability, and capacity.
- Provide tooling and processes to enable engineering self-service and define clear ownership boundaries.
- Participate in production on-call rotations and lead incident remediation and post-incident reviews.
- Set and drive adoption of modern SDLC patterns and security-focused deployment practices.
- Author clear technical documentation, RFCs, and design docs.
