Requirements
- Proven experience shipping and operating production services in Go or an adjacent systems language.
- Security-first engineering mindset with experience reasoning about threat models and key custody.
- Understanding of applied-cryptography fundamentals, specifically public-key crypto, signatures, and key management.
- Solid background in distributed systems architecture and robust API design.
- Operational experience with Kubernetes, system observability, and incident response.
- Strong technical writing skills for design docs and decision records.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, review-heavy engineering culture.
- Experience with TEEs (AWS Nitro, Intel SGX/TDX) is a plus.
- Familiarity with threshold cryptography or MPC (DKG, FROST) is preferred.
- Experience with account abstraction (ERC-4337) or embedded wallet architecture is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Develop Go backend services for wallet creation, authentication, and signing at scale.
- Architect key recovery systems and committee trust models using distributed key generation and secret sharing.
- Operate and reconstruct key material within Trusted Execution Environments (TEEs) using hardware isolation.
- Integrate authentication methods including WebAuthn, passkeys, OAuth, and 2FA.
- Manage authorization and policy flows with third-party signing providers.
- Conduct security reviews, write design documentation, and remediate findings from external security audits.
- Maintain production infrastructure on Kubernetes, including observability, alerting, and compliance controls.
