Requirements

  • Post-secondary education in Computing Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in software development.
  • 2+ years in a leadership-oriented role managing people, projects, processes, or technical delivery.
  • Practical experience delivering AI-enabled products or technology projects.
  • Understanding of applied AI development, such as AI coding tools, LLM integrations, and agentic workflows.
  • Familiarity with AI platforms and tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude).
  • Strong technical leadership skills in architecture, system design, and deployment.
  • Ability to mentor and lead high-performing teams.
  • Strong project and delivery management skills.
  • Business acumen with the ability to use metrics and data analytics to drive decisions.
  • Strong communication skills for engaging with stakeholders and senior leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical leadership for the architecture, design, development, deployment, and improvement of AI-powered software solutions.
  • Manage a team of Software Developers and Data Scientists to foster technical excellence.
  • Lead the delivery of AI-enabled products and features for customers.
  • Advocate for AI adoption across the organization to improve AI literacy and productivity.
  • Establish best practices for AI-Native development, including CI/CD, testing, and security.
  • Research and recommend AI tools, workflows, and technology decisions.
  • Own the AI roadmap and prioritize initiatives aligned with business goals.
  • Manage project schedules, resources, dependencies, and delivery expectations.
  • Mentor and develop team members through coaching and performance management.
  • Partner with Product Owners and stakeholders to define business requirements and delivery plans.
