Requirements
- Post-secondary education in Computing Science, Software Engineering, AI, Data Science, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in software development, business intelligence, or data science roles.
- 2+ years of experience in a leadership role managing people, projects, or technical delivery.
- Practical experience delivering AI-enabled products and business intelligence tools.
- Strong SQL skills and expertise in reporting platforms and analytical scripts.
- Experience with data warehousing, data modeling, and reporting pipelines.
- Understanding of AI development practices such as LLM integrations, agentic workflows, and AI evaluation.
- Proven project management skills, including the ability to manage scope, schedules, and delivery expectations.
- Ability to mentor and coach team members and foster high-performing team environments.
- Strong communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership for the architecture, design, and deployment of AI, reporting, and data analysis software.
- Manage and mentor a cross-functional team of Software Developers, Data Scientists, and Business Intelligence Specialists.
- Lead the delivery of AI-enabled products and features to improve legal document creation for millions of users.
- Guide internal AI adoption and establish best practices for AI-native development and secure data governance.
- Design and deliver business intelligence solutions including dashboards, SQL queries, and self-service reporting tools.
- Prioritize the AI team roadmap and align technical deliverables with organizational goals and customer needs.
