Requirements
- 3–6 years of marketing experience, preferably in B2B software or technology.
- Specialized track record in organic, social, brand, community, or advocacy marketing.
- Demonstrated ability to grow an audience and earn reach through relationships rather than paid funnels.
- Hands-on experience creating engaging content for social media and monitoring trends.
- Strong editorial instincts with the ability to write sharp social or short-form posts.
- Working understanding of product-led growth.
- Skilled at building relationships and leveraging them to create scalable programs.
- Must be self-directed and able to build systems and partnerships without a prescribed playbook.
- Willingness to travel three times per year for team gatherings.
Responsibilities
- Own how Planning Center shows up in the spaces where our audience gathers organically: social media, podcasts, review sites, and partnerships.
- Run our social media presence from end to end, including planning, publishing, and lightweight photo/video production.
- Rework and socialize content created by the Marketing Team to extend organic reach.
- Discover and manage influencers and creators in the church and ministry space.
- Build programs and relationships that facilitate customer stories, testimonials, and case studies.
- Grow reachable audience through trust and presence rather than paid acquisition.
- Partner with Product Marketing and Content teams to identify, recruit, and spotlight standout customer stories.
- Pursue podcast appearances, newsletter placements, and co-marketing opportunities.
