Requirements
- 7+ years in engineering operations, engineering management, program management, or similar roles.
- Deep, hands-on experience in Jira and Confluence administration.
- Demonstrated expertise in building Jira workflows, automations, and reporting.
- Strong understanding of SDLC execution in real-world engineering environments.
- Proven ability to work directly with engineers to solve process and tooling challenges.
- Experience with Productboard administration and Jira integration.
- Strong written documentation and practical training skills.
- Ability to operate independently and make configuration decisions.
- Experience with complex Jira automation (branching, conditional logic) is preferred.
- Experience implementing AI automations using Claude is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Translate SDLC standards into practical, executable workflows within Jira and related tools.
- Configure Jira projects, issue hierarchies, schemas, and screens to support SDLC phases.
- Serve as the primary administrator for Jira, Confluence, and Productboard.
- Build and maintain Jira automation rules to enforce fields, transitions, and traceability.
- Partner with engineering and product teams to troubleshoot process breakdowns and ensure metric accuracy.
- Create and distribute leadership dashboards to highlight bottlenecks and improvement opportunities.
- Provide practical guidance and tool walkthroughs to internal teams.
