Requirements

  • 15+ years shipping software products or services in roles including Product Management, Program Management, Business Analyst, Architect, Developer, QA Engineer, Release Manager, DevOps, Product Support, or Professional Services.
  • Strong technical acumen and technical horsepower.
  • Expertise in at least one of the following: Product Management, Program Management, Software Architecture, Software Development, Quality Assurance, Release Management, DevOps, Product Support, or Professional Services.
  • Ability to work from home or an office of choosing while remaining self-directed.
  • Proven ability to effectively collaborate in both remote and in-person capacities.
  • Action-oriented personality with a track record of getting things done.
  • Willingness to learn and take on new challenges outside initial comfort zones.
  • Passion for mentoring others and enhancing team performance.
  • Strong knowledge of Project Management tools like TFS or Jira (preferred).
  • Experience with development technologies such as C# or Java (preferred).
  • Familiarity with build, test, and deployment tools such as Jenkins, TeamCity, Selenium, or Octopus (preferred).
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field (preferred but not required).

Responsibilities

  • Identify improvements for existing technology, organizations, processes, and tools used to develop software products and services.
  • Partner with private equity and investment firms to conduct technical due diligence, identifying strengths, risks, and improvement opportunities.
  • Design and implement solutions from scratch, including Agile methodology transformations.
  • Guide and mentor junior software developers and engineers.
  • Collaborate with internal and client-side technical leads and team members.
  • Manage and drive projects to successful completion, including collaboration and hands-on participation.
  • Assess software engineering organization capabilities and create improvement plans.
