Requirements
- Experience owning product or platform systems end to end at the staff level.
- Strong fullstack technical proficiency in Go, Ruby, and Node.
- Depth in reporting and metrics platforms, graph data systems, or data access/warehouse integrations.
- Hands-on experience building production data ingestion or systems integrations.
- Experience operating multi-tenant systems across SaaS and self-managed environments.
- Strong judgment in ambiguity and ability to create technical clarity.
- Clear written communication skills for architecture proposals and design records.
Responsibilities
- Architect ingestion, modeling, and synchronization processes for the Knowledge Graph.
- Coordinate integrations with external systems like Jira, observability tools, Zendesk, and ServiceNow.
- Design the Data Marketplace to enable data consumption via Snowflake, Databricks, and BigQuery.
- Publish observability data as OpenTelemetry and maintain associated access APIs.
- Define operational readiness for systems across GitLab.com, Dedicated, and Self-Managed deployments.
- Translate ambiguous product problems into iterative technical plans and roadmaps.
- Mentor senior and intermediate engineers through design reviews, pairing, and code reviews.
