Requirements
- 9+ years of overall experience in data engineering, data architecture, or enterprise architecture roles.
- Proven experience designing enterprise data architecture strategies, standards, policies, and target-state architectures.
- Strong background in establishing enterprise data governance frameworks and architecture review processes.
- Hands-on expertise in enterprise data modelling using industry-standard methodologies and tools.
- Strong understanding of data architecture paradigms including Data Lake, Data Mesh, Data Fabric, and hybrid architectures.
- Experience with cloud data platforms such as Databricks or Snowflake.
- Familiarity with enterprise data governance and metadata management tools such as Collibra.
- Exposure to enterprise architecture tools such as LeanIX or Ardoq.
- Experience working in banking, financial services, or other highly regulated environments.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills at senior levels.
Responsibilities
- Define and maintain enterprise data architecture principles, standards, policies, and target-state architectures aligned with business and technology strategies.
- Design and govern current, transition, and target-state data architectures across multiple business domains.
- Establish and lead enterprise data governance functions, architecture review boards, and governance forums.
- Develop and maintain enterprise data models aligned with industry frameworks such as FSLDM or BIRD.
- Design scalable enterprise data flows, integration architectures, and transformation roadmaps.
- Collaborate with architects and engineering teams to define scalable solutions and evaluate data architecture tools.
- Promote modern data architecture paradigms including Data Lake, Data Mesh, Data Fabric, and hybrid architectures.
