Requirements
- 5+ years of experience running AWS and Kubernetes in production.
- Strong proficiency with Terraform and Kubernetes manifests (Helm, Kustomize).
- Experience with GitOps delivery using Argo CD or Flux.
- Solid security mindset with experience in SAST/DAST, secrets management, and IAM.
- Experience with observability tools like Datadog or Sentry.
- Proficiency in Node.js/TypeScript, Python, and Bash scripting.
- Experience managing PostgreSQL and MongoDB databases.
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals such as TCP/IP, DNS, routing, and load balancing.
- Commitment to documentation-first, asynchronous communication.
Responsibilities
- Run and scale production AWS and EKS including cluster lifecycle, autoscaling, ingress, DNS, and certificates.
- Manage cloud and cluster configuration declaratively using Terraform, Helm, Kustomize, eksctl, and GitOps.
- Ship through GitHub Actions and GitOps workflows using Argo CD or Flux.
- Manage security practices including SAST/DAST scanning, secrets management, and least-privilege IAM.
- Maintain observability systems including metrics, logs, and traces using Datadog and Sentry.
- Operate and manage data and messaging services such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, OpenSearch, and Temporal.
- Build automation and internal tooling using Python, Bash, Go, and Node.js.
