Requirements
- 4–6+ years of experience in partnerships, affiliate/channel marketing, business development, or sales.
- Proven track record of sourcing and closing partnerships that produce measurable revenue.
- Hunter's instinct with the ability to identify new opportunities and close deals.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to build and maintain executive-level relationships.
- Analytical rigor with comfort in affiliate platforms and funnel metrics.
- Demonstrated sense of ownership, including the ability to identify problems and implement solutions.
- Builder mindset with the ability to thrive in ambiguous environments.
- Fintech experience is a nice-to-have.
- Experience marketing to small business owners is a nice-to-have.
- Familiarity with regulatory considerations for marketing content in fintech or banking is a nice-to-have.
Responsibilities
- Identify, research, and prospect high-potential growth partners in the small business ecosystem.
- Own the full deal cycle from initial outreach and pitch to deal structuring, negotiation, and contract finalization.
- Design and negotiate commission and referral structures that maximize volume while maintaining healthy acquisition costs.
- Onboard new partners and work with product/engineering to implement effective incentive structures and low-friction onboarding flows.
- Manage the partner portfolio, run regular performance reviews against goals, and negotiate scaling plans.
- Build co-marketing, enablement, and cross-sell plans while ensuring partner compliance.
- Partner with Analytics and Marketing Ops to track program performance, manage integrations, and report on conversion, CAC, and revenue.
