Requirements
- 10+ years of UX/product design experience.
- 3+ years of experience in senior or principal individual contributor roles.
- Deep experience designing complex, high-stakes enterprise workflows.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating outcomes and measurable behavior change.
- Strong discovery skills including user research, synthesis, and workshop facilitation.
- Ability to work across the full fidelity range from sketches to high-fidelity designs.
- Strong communication and storytelling skills to influence executives and technical teams.
- Strong opinions on AI UX, specifically regarding trust, evidence display, and human control.
- Preferred: Cybersecurity or security operations domain experience.
- Preferred: Experience at Series A–C stage companies.
- Preferred: Hands-on prototyping fluency including code-based tools.
- Preferred: Experience contributing to a design system.
Responsibilities
- Serve as design lead in cross-functional product trios alongside product and engineering.
- Lead and participate in customer discovery, including interviews, usability sessions, and practitioner research.
- Define AI interaction design regarding evidence visibility, human override, and auditability.
- Translate complex SOC workflows into intuitive and trustworthy experiences.
- Build prototypes to validate concepts prior to engineering investment.
- Establish and evolve scalable design patterns and a growing design system.
- Represent design in strategic product and roadmap discussions with leadership.
