Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in large-scale network engineering, network security, or data infrastructure roles within a global cloud or service provider environment.
- Deep technical expertise in network telemetry protocols and flow analysis (NetFlow, sFlow, IPFIX).
- Expertise in processing massive data pipelines in real time.
- Demonstrated history of architecting and managing large-scale DDoS defense architectures.
- Proven ability to leverage unsupervised machine learning models and statistical methodologies for anomaly identification and demand forecasting.
- Hands-on experience deploying distributed stream processing engines such as Flink or Spark Streaming.
- Significant background in orchestrating capacity lifecycle management and data-centric governance for global-scale infrastructure.
- Proficiency in architecting data lakes and implementing real-time enrichment pipelines.
- Strong background in software engineering or scripting relevant to network automation and big data systems.
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing senior technical teams.
Responsibilities
- Architect foundational specifications for the global network telemetry ecosystem and exercise full ownership over the intelligence framework.
- Direct the global DDoS detection framework, define attack classifications, and establish automated mitigation response protocols.
- Design threat detection mechanisms to mitigate network security risks and enhance platform trust and safety.
- Establish comprehensive data reporting structures for network performance, security events, and operational health.
- Lead capacity management, backbone/peering cost analysis, and network monetization initiatives based on usage data.
- Collaborate with finance and engineering to architect a telemetry-driven billing ecosystem.
- Manage, mentor, and scale a high-performing engineering team focused on network security and infrastructure intelligence.
