Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline such as statistics, biostatistics, mathematics, economics, data science, computer science, engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 12+ years of overall professional experience, including 10+ years in advanced analytics, data science, commercial analytics, medical analytics, clinical operations analytics, business analytics, or related areas within pharmaceutical, biotech, healthcare, or life sciences organizations.
- Proven ability to translate complex data and analytical findings into strategic recommendations for senior executives and business leaders.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare and life sciences data sources, including claims, prescription data, EHRs, real-world data, clinical trial operations data, market access data, and syndicated datasets.
- Demonstrated success leading analytics initiatives supporting commercial strategy, patient insights, medical engagement, evidence generation, clinical trial planning, customer targeting, segmentation, measurement, or predictive modeling.
- Experience identifying high-value AI opportunities and guiding organizations through AI-enabled transformation.
- Strong understanding of modern analytics and AI technologies, including SQL, Python, R, machine learning platforms, cloud data environments, business intelligence tools, and AI/ML deployment approaches.
- Experience building analytics capabilities within fast-growing, complex organizations.
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts, influence stakeholders, and present insights effectively to executive audiences.
- Ability to foster collaboration, demonstrate strategic thinking, embrace change, and promote continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute an advanced analytics roadmap aligned with strategic priorities across commercial, medical, and clinical operations functions.
- Develop patient journey and evidence-based analytics using healthcare data sources such as claims, prescription data, specialty pharmacy data, EHRs, clinical trial data, and real-world evidence.
- Build and scale analytics solutions supporting customer engagement, segmentation, campaign measurement, field effectiveness, medical insights, and clinical trial acceleration.
- Lead the development and deployment of predictive models, machine learning solutions, AI-enabled tools, and decision-support capabilities.
- Shape the AI strategy by identifying practical applications for generative AI, agentic AI, natural language interfaces, intelligent automation, and decision intelligence.
- Partner with senior stakeholders to translate business, scientific, and operational challenges into analytical strategies and actionable recommendations.
- Collaborate with technology, data engineering, legal, privacy, compliance, and external partners to ensure responsible, secure, and scalable analytics solutions.
- Champion responsible AI practices, including transparency, explainability, bias awareness, governance, validation, and human oversight.
- Lead and mentor analytics professionals while fostering a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and data-driven decision-making.
- Establish analytics standards, operating models, and best practices that improve quality, scalability, and speed to insight.
