Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare, nursing degree or equivalent work experience.
- Four years of risk consultant experience in medical malpractice.
- Experience preparing and presenting healthcare educational offerings to physician practices, hospitals or senior living facilities.
- Demonstrated ability to solve problems independently and provide risk management solutions.
- Expertise in risk management data, industry trends, and thought leadership.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Capability to adapt to changes in the work environment.
- Willingness to travel up to 50%, including overnight and weekends.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the dedicated consultant for risk advice to assigned clients in designated region.
- Build relationships proactively with identified clients by offering custom services such as risk assessments, strategic risk management plans, tools and resource development or staff education.
- Determine client needs with leadership coaching by assessing client risk profile and aligning risk strategies.
- Organize, plan and facilitate risk assessments to identify malpractice risk exposures.
- Produce and present educational programs to identified clients, including virtual or in-person sessions.
- Collaborate with internal teams on client needs, risk concerns, new business ventures, and retention strategies.
- Serve as the Risk On-call consultant on a monthly rotation.
