- 5+ years of experience in civil design, subsurface utilities engineering, and utilities mapping.
- Expert-level ability to interpret complex utility engineering records and as-builts.
- Demonstrated experience managing projects and delivery teams.
- Ability to design and implement QAQC frameworks and data validation pipelines.
- Proficiency in GIS and CAD tools.
- Proficiency with project management software.
- Proven ability to mentor and coach junior employees.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to create order out of complex, unstructured problems.
- Excellent communication skills for explaining technical blockers.
- Humble, collaborative mindset with a willingness to assist in all team tasks.
Responsibilities
- Provide expert-level markup, interpretation, and guidance of complex utility engineering records, as-builts, and historical plan sets.
- Conduct rigorous QA/QC on digitized deliverables to ensure absolute accuracy before they reach the CivilGrid platform.
- Manage and lead delivery-focused teams (Customer Success, GIS, Utilities Research, etc.) to complete utilities research projects.
- Own the scheduling, prioritization, and resource allocation for assigned projects.
- Mentor junior employees by sharing industry and technical knowledge.
- Design and implement QAQC frameworks and data validation pipelines.
