Requirements
- Solid hands-on experience with Kubernetes, specifically GKE, EKS, or other managed services.
- Proven experience with Terraform as a primary IaC tool.
- Strong IAM and identity management experience on GCP or AWS.
- Experience with ArgoCD or a comparable GitOps tool for continuous delivery.
- Observability experience using Honeycomb, Datadog, Grafana, or New Relic.
- Proficiency in Python for automation and building internal tooling.
- Experience working in startup or scale-up environments handling ambiguity.
- Strong communication skills for translating infrastructure complexity to engineering teams.
- Experience leading and participating in incident response and root cause analysis.
Responsibilities
- Support engineering teams in developing mature, resilient applications on GKE.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code using Terraform and ArgoCD.
- Write internal platform applications and automation tools using Python.
- Manage and maintain GKE environments across multiple regions including IAM and identity management.
- Investigate and triage application issues, monitor system health, and support software development lifecycles.
- Migrate infrastructure-as-code from Terraform to Crossplane.
- Drive FinOps initiatives to gain visibility and control over cloud spend.
- Design and implement access patterns for multi-tenancy and BYOC environments.
- Instrument and improve observability across the stack using tools like Honeycomb and Grafana.
