Requirements
- Deeply technical security leadership experience within modern engineering organizations.
- Strong understanding of both infrastructure and application security.
- Proven experience navigating high-pressure real-world security incidents.
- Ability to build scalable security systems and processes.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to bridge technical and strategic discussions.
- Experience with AWS is a plus.
- Experience with distributed systems, developer tools, fintech, mobile, or payments is a plus.
- Pragmatic approach to security, ensuring it remains an enabler rather than a bottleneck.
- Expertise in supply chain security, secure software development, and identity and access management.
Responsibilities
- Own and evolve the security roadmap across infrastructure, application, and internal security.
- Partner closely with engineering leadership on architecture and security decisions.
- Evaluate risks and policies regarding AI-assisted development workflows.
- Drive meaningful improvements to detection, prevention, and response capabilities.
- Support customer-facing security conversations and compliance reviews.
- Develop a long-term strategy for security, resilience, and operational trust.
- Establish a mature, pragmatic, and high-trust security program that supports engineering velocity.
