Requirements
- 5+ years of payroll experience across multiple countries (specifically Spain).
- Experience with third-party platforms such as ADP, Workday, or Ceridian.
- Experience in local currency to billing currency conversion.
- Experience in customer support using ticketing systems like ServiceNow or Zendesk.
- Ability to provide information on payroll processes and results.
- Ability to resolve customer billing and payroll questions.
- Advanced skill level in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal.
- Spanish language skills are preferred.
- Degree in Finance, Business, Human Resources, or related disciplines.
- Strong time management skills with a sense of urgency.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and data security.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day multi-country payroll activities for the EMEA region including approvals and issue management.
- Streamline global payroll processes onto a single platform.
- Compile, review, and reconcile payroll inputs from stakeholders and systems like GPP, Workday, and ZoHo.
- Monitor vendor payroll processing, compliance activities, and output accuracy.
- Report payroll estimates and request funding for payroll, taxes, and third-party payments.
- Generate accurate client bills using cost reports.
- Deliver reports to internal teams and external statutory bodies.
- Mentor and train Associate Payroll & Billing Specialists.
- Act as the payroll team escalation point for inquiries from employees, customers, and internal stakeholders.
