Requirements
- 5+ years of industry experience as a data engineer or similar role.
- Expertise in Python and fluency in SQL.
- Proven experience creating automated testing and applying design patterns.
- Experience managing 3 or more people with accountability for their growth.
- Strong communication skills for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to contribute as an individual contributor and manager (Player Coach).
- Proven experience leading projects from end-to-end (idea generation to delivery).
- Working knowledge of ML/AI application deployment and monitoring.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product managers, data analysts, and machine learning engineers to develop pipelines and ETL tasks to facilitate insights.
- Establish data architecture processes and standards for replication and automation.
- Inform data team strategy by working with product leaders and managers.
- Participate in the execution and planning of organizational data team strategy.
- Collaborate with Data Leadership to ensure alignment across the Data Organization.
- Manage individual Data Engineers to foster learning, growth, and success.
