Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience selling in the K-12 industry.
  • Direct experience selling Fintech or SaaS products.
  • Proven experience working directly with C-level School District Business Officials.
  • Demonstrated track record of meeting sales objectives, quotas, and productivity requirements.
  • Strong relationship-management skills.
  • Excellent written, oral communication, and presentation skills.
  • Understanding of the K-12 industry.
  • Ability to travel frequently within the assigned territory of CO, UT, NM, MT, and NE.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all phases of sales cycles including prospecting, discovery, demo, and closing.
  • Build a sales pipeline via outbound calls, email, events, and face-to-face meetings.
  • Meet and exceed established sales quotas and performance metrics.
  • Leverage marketing initiatives to drive opportunities through the sales cycle.
  • Act as a brand evangelist for KEV products and services.
  • Maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders and customers.
  • Collaborate with Customer Success to ensure successful client onboarding.
  • Attend and represent KEV at industry conferences.
  • Maintain accurate forecasting, reporting, and data entry in the CRM system.
