Requirements
- BS in Computer Science, Engineering, Mechatronics, Aerospace, or related field.
- Hands-on experience with systems engineering principles including V Model, requirements documentation, and traceability.
- Experience performing Verification & Validation (V&V) of autonomous systems.
- Experience generating safety artifacts for complex autonomous systems such as HARA, FMEA, FTA, or STPA.
- Experience in developing and deploying robotic systems or autonomous vehicles with safety-critical components.
- Basic knowledge of functional safety and SOTIF principles.
- Proficiency or willingness to learn Python and SQL for data analysis and reporting.
- Ability to communicate technical issues and solutions across all organizational levels.
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
Responsibilities
- Design, analyze, and perform Verification & Validation (V&V) of autonomous vehicle system architecture.
- Develop autonomous driving systems and construct safety cases to document and defend the solution integrity.
- Create and deploy dependable, safety-critical systems for autonomous driving in airport environments.
- Define and monitor KPIs for data-driven engineering and system performance.
- Develop data collection and analysis pipelines to support V&V processes.
- Define safety goals and requirements based on operational design domains (ODD), hazards, and risks.
- Create and manage requirements documentation, traceability, and system architecture.
- Shape system behaviors for critical safety scenarios and ensure robust design implementation.
- Identify and communicate risks while coordinating solutions across teams.
