Requirements

  • Familiarity with US, EMEA, and APAC labor law.
  • Experience with UK-specific grievance/disciplinary procedures.
  • Experience navigating consultation processes such as Works Councils in EMEA.
  • Ability to balance legal risks with cultural impact in complex, ambiguous situations.
  • Expertise in translating complex legal requirements into actionable advice.
  • Experience working within a fast-growing SaaS or tech company.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the implementation and management of employee relations workflows to ensure a consistent, scalable framework.
  • Manage the end-to-end process for investigations and performance cases, providing specialized support to People Business Partners.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of labor laws in key operating regions, including UK grievance/disciplinary procedures, EMEA Works Councils, and California-specific regulations.
  • Assist with growth into new markets by applying ER and labor law expertise to localized needs.
  • Utilize ER data to identify trends and derive insights to address potential issues proactively.
  • Collaborate with the L&D team to deliver training to managers on ER best practices, performance management, and local compliance.
