Requirements
- Proven experience managing employee relations on a global scale.
- Strong grasp of international labor laws.
- Strong experience conducting investigations with empathy, objectivity, and discretion.
- Familiarity with US, EMEA, and APAC labor law.
- Experience with UK-specific grievance/disciplinary procedures.
- Experience navigating consultation processes such as Works Councils in EMEA.
- Ability to balance legal risks with cultural impact in complex, ambiguous situations.
- Expertise in translating complex legal requirements into actionable advice.
- Experience working within a fast-growing SaaS or tech company.
Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation and management of employee relations workflows to ensure a consistent, scalable framework.
- Manage the end-to-end process for investigations and performance cases, providing specialized support to People Business Partners.
- Maintain a deep understanding of labor laws in key operating regions, including UK grievance/disciplinary procedures, EMEA Works Councils, and California-specific regulations.
- Assist with growth into new markets by applying ER and labor law expertise to localized needs.
- Utilize ER data to identify trends and derive insights to address potential issues proactively.
- Collaborate with the L&D team to deliver training to managers on ER best practices, performance management, and local compliance.
