Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 7–10 years of experience in business development, corporate fundraising, sales, strategic partnerships, or related fields.
- Proven success securing new six-figure corporate partnerships or equivalent business development outcomes.
- Strong prospecting, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
- Experience managing a complex sales or fundraising pipeline.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and proposal development skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into action.
- Experience managing pipeline, conversion metrics, and sales performance.
- Familiarity with CRM systems like Salesforce or HubSpot.
- Professionally trained in consultative sales techniques (preferred).
- Experience in nonprofit fundraising or corporate partnerships (preferred).
- Experience scaling outbound sales strategies (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute an annual corporate acquisition strategy aligned with organizational revenue goals.
- Identify, research, and qualify prospective corporate partners that align with organizational mission and priorities.
- Secure introductory meetings, discovery calls, and relationship-building engagements with prospective partners.
- Cultivate executive-level relationships and collaborate with senior leadership to advance strategic opportunities.
- Maintain an active portfolio of approximately 100–150 prospects and 25–40 qualified opportunities.
- Monitor and report on pipeline health, forecasting, and revenue projections.
- Partner with Marketing and Communications to develop lead generation campaigns and prospect engagement strategies.
