Requirements
- 5+ years of product design experience.
- Background designing software products in SaaS, enterprise software, ERP, internal tools, or developer platforms.
- Ability to design complex, workflow-heavy products for multiple stakeholders.
- Experience translating ambiguous customer problems into clear, implementation-ready design specs.
- Comfortable working directly with customers in discovery sessions and presentations.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to make complex workflows simple and actionable.
- Systems thinking approach to design, including expertise in design systems and reusable components.
- Technical fluency with APIs, data models, and configurable software platforms.
- Ability to produce working prototypes and collaborate on PRs using coding agents.
- Availability for approximately 10–20% travel.
Responsibilities
- Lead product design for customer projects by understanding business operations, user roles, and pain points.
- Translate complex operational requirements into clear user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and specifications.
- Own design direction for customer deployments ensuring intuitive, consistent, and business-aligned experiences.
- Facilitate design reviews with customers and internal teams to drive clarity and alignment.
- Partner with engineers and product managers to translate customer conversations into actionable design decisions.
- Identify recurring workflows and contribute learnings to Tailor’s design system and UI libraries.
- Distill customer insights into strategic product themes to shape the platform roadmap.
