Requirements

  • Proven experience in revenue integrity, revenue cycle management, healthcare finance, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of hospital revenue cycle operations, including charge capture, coding, billing, and compliance processes.
  • Experience leading teams, managing cross-functional initiatives, and influencing stakeholders at multiple organizational levels.
  • Ability to analyze operational data, develop performance metrics, and translate insights into actionable improvements.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong project management, problem-solving, and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Experience working with healthcare systems, hospitals, or physician group environments is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing priorities and drive innovation through technology and process optimization.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee Revenue Integrity operations, including charge edits, charge master processes, and charge capture improvement initiatives.
  • Partner with key revenue cycle teams, including coding, billing, patient access, health information management, and patient financial services, to improve workflows and outcomes.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for healthcare clients and internal leadership on revenue integrity practices and acute care revenue cycle operations.
  • Develop and execute short-term and long-term strategies, goals, and improvement plans aligned with business objectives.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop teams while promoting collaboration, accountability, and professional growth.
  • Create and implement reporting tools, scorecards, and analytics to monitor performance and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Develop training materials, presentations, and documentation to improve understanding of revenue cycle processes across internal and external teams.
  • Ensure compliance with established policies, procedures, and industry standards while driving continuous improvement initiatives.
