Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in a relevant field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in institutional research, data analysis, higher education administration, or a related analytical role.
- Strong statistical, analytical, and problem-solving skills with experience interpreting complex datasets.
- Proficiency with data visualization and reporting tools such as Power BI, SQL, and Excel.
- Familiarity with institutional research practices, accreditation standards, and higher education data governance.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex data clearly to diverse audiences.
- Understanding of compliance requirements and reporting standards for state and federal education agencies.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and collaborate effectively across departments.
Responsibilities
- Collect, validate, and analyze institutional data related to enrollment, student success, faculty productivity, and other key performance indicators.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to communicate institutional metrics effectively.
- Support the preparation of internal and external reports for accrediting bodies, government agencies, and institutional leadership.
- Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and compliance with institutional research standards and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Conduct research on higher education trends, benchmarks, and best practices to inform planning and decision-making.
- Collaborate with academic and administrative departments to improve data quality, governance, and reporting processes.
- Respond to data requests from leadership, faculty, and staff in a timely and accurate manner.
