Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
- 3–5 years of client-facing experience in financial services, sales support, distribution, internal wholesaling, hybrid wholesaling, or related wealth management roles.
- Strong understanding of the RIA channel and the investment solutions used by independent financial advisors.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build credibility and establish trusted client relationships.
- Comfortable conducting high-volume outbound prospecting through phone, email, and virtual meetings using a consultative sales approach.
- Experience using CRM platforms, preferably Salesforce, to manage pipelines, sales activity, and prospect engagement.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple opportunities while collaborating effectively across cross-functional teams.
- Experience with UMA, SMA, wealth management technology, or fintech platforms is an advantage.
- Series 65 license, or willingness to obtain one, is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Generate qualified sales opportunities through proactive outbound outreach, including phone calls, emails, virtual meetings, and targeted prospecting within the RIA channel.
- Support senior business development professionals by managing assigned territories, scheduling advisor meetings, and preparing materials for client engagements.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with independent advisors, RIA firms, home office contacts, and distribution partners through consistent, value-driven communication.
- Educate prospective clients on managed account solutions, tax-efficient investing strategies, and platform capabilities using consultative sales techniques.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, track outreach activities, manage pipeline progression, and ensure timely follow-up on all opportunities.
- Participate in virtual and in-person events, webinars, and regional meetings to strengthen brand awareness and support business development initiatives.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Product, and Sales teams by sharing market insights, competitive intelligence, client feedback, and evolving customer needs.
