Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical, business, scientific, or related discipline; advanced degree preferred.
- 4+ years of product management experience, ideally within clinical trials, healthcare, life sciences, digital health, or related technology environments.
- Proven experience managing the full product lifecycle, including research, conceptualization, development, launch, and ongoing improvement.
- Experience working with customer-facing product discovery, requirements gathering, and solution development.
- Strong understanding of SaaS products, web and mobile platforms, APIs, integrations, cloud-based systems, and data workflows.
- Experience working in Agile development environments with tools such as Jira or similar project management platforms.
- Ability to manage competing priorities, make informed decisions, and drive alignment across cross-functional teams.
- Understanding of clinical trial workflows, including site operations, patient experiences, and clinical data collection processes.
- Knowledge of regulated environments and standards such as 21 CFR, GxP, GDPR, or similar healthcare compliance frameworks.
- Familiarity with machine learning concepts, artificial intelligence tools, and data-driven product development approaches.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Product management certifications, Agile certifications, or project management credentials are preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle for clinical trial products, from discovery and concept development through launch, iteration, and product evolution.
- Define and maintain product roadmaps, backlogs, feature priorities, and success metrics aligned with customer needs and business objectives.
- Conduct market research, customer interviews, user research, and stakeholder discussions to identify opportunities and prioritize product improvements.
- Develop user personas, journey maps, workflows, use cases, and product requirements to guide design and development efforts.
- Translate customer needs and business requirements into clear, actionable product specifications in collaboration with engineering, design, product ownership, and business teams.
- Partner closely with technical teams to support software development, feature delivery, release planning, quality assurance, and Agile processes.
- Balance customer value, technical feasibility, regulatory requirements, and business impact when making prioritization decisions.
- Collaborate with clinical, operational, scientific, and healthcare teams to identify product synergies and support innovation across solutions.
- Manage stakeholder expectations by communicating product progress, timelines, priorities, and delivery updates.
- Ensure products meet industry standards, regulatory expectations, and user needs within highly regulated healthcare environments.
