Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a science, healthcare, or related field (advanced degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 7 years of clinical research experience.
  • At least 4 years of direct clinical project management experience.
  • Experience managing complex global clinical trials and cross-functional study teams.
  • Strong background in oncology research, with experience in cell and/or gene therapy studies preferred.
  • Experience working within a clinical research organization or similar regulated research environment.
  • Strong knowledge of ICH-GCP guidelines, clinical research standards, and quality requirements.
  • Expertise in project planning, risk management, change management, and strategic execution.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, eTMF, EDC, and CTMS platforms.
  • Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact and escalation partner for clients, providing strategic guidance and proactive issue resolution.
  • Lead the coordination of cross-functional clinical trial activities, including oversight of internal teams and external vendors.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including milestones, resource allocation, risk identification, and mitigation strategies.
  • Manage study budgets, project profitability, forecasting, and billing accuracy.
  • Establish performance metrics and reporting frameworks to monitor study progress and quality indicators.
  • Lead internal and external project meetings, aligning stakeholder expectations.
  • Drive quality management activities, including inspection readiness and compliance oversight.
  • Support business development activities, including client presentations and bid defense meetings.
