Requirements

  • BS in Environmental Engineering, Geology, Hydrogeology, Environmental Science, or another related field.
  • 7+ years of experience including familiarity with the State of Florida Petroleum Restoration Program, Florida Regulations, and Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects within contract requirements.
  • Strong technical report writing skills, exceptional attention to detail, and excellent organizational abilities.
  • Ability to successfully multi-task.
  • Professional Engineer license preferred.
  • 40-hour HAZWOPER certification preferred.
  • Valid driver's license, safe driving history, and reliable transportation.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of FDEP PRP sites through all phases of assessment, remediation, and site closure.
  • Develop, track, and maintain project schedules, budgets, and scopes of work.
  • Coordinate internal technical staff, subcontractors, and laboratories to ensure timely and compliant project execution.
  • Proactively monitor project progress and deadlines to prevent delays and ensure deliverables are submitted on time.
  • Manage project budgets and cost controls in accordance with PRP funding constraints and contract requirements.
  • Coordinate accurate invoicing submittals with administrative staff.
  • Participate in PRP teleconferences, meetings, and site visits as required.
