Requirements
- BS in Environmental Engineering, Geology, Hydrogeology, Environmental Science, or another related field.
- 7+ years of experience including familiarity with the State of Florida Petroleum Restoration Program, Florida Regulations, and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Ability to manage multiple projects within contract requirements.
- Strong technical report writing skills, exceptional attention to detail, and excellent organizational abilities.
- Ability to successfully multi-task.
- Professional Engineer license preferred.
- 40-hour HAZWOPER certification preferred.
- Valid driver's license, safe driving history, and reliable transportation.
- Strong communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of FDEP PRP sites through all phases of assessment, remediation, and site closure.
- Develop, track, and maintain project schedules, budgets, and scopes of work.
- Coordinate internal technical staff, subcontractors, and laboratories to ensure timely and compliant project execution.
- Proactively monitor project progress and deadlines to prevent delays and ensure deliverables are submitted on time.
- Manage project budgets and cost controls in accordance with PRP funding constraints and contract requirements.
- Coordinate accurate invoicing submittals with administrative staff.
- Participate in PRP teleconferences, meetings, and site visits as required.
